Our Story
The Beginning
Gypuntinic was founded by Akosua Mensah, a former bank employee who recognized that many Ghanaians were struggling with financial decisions due to lack of basic financial education. Starting with a single budgeting workshop in Accra, Akosua's practical approach to financial concepts quickly gained popularity.
Growth & Expansion
With growing demand, Akosua assembled a team of financial educators and expanded the course offerings to include debt management and saving strategies. The team conducted workshops in multiple cities across Ghana, reaching over 1,000 students in the first year.
Digital Transformation
In response to the global pandemic, Gypuntinic pivoted to digital education, creating online courses that maintained the practical, accessible approach of their in-person workshops. This transformation allowed them to reach Ghanaians in rural areas who previously had limited access to financial education.
Expanding Impact
Gypuntinic formed partnerships with community organizations, schools, and small businesses to extend their reach. They also launched a scholarship program to provide free courses to those in financial need.
Where We Are Now
Today, Gypuntinic is Ghana's leading provider of accessible financial education with over 10,000 graduates from our courses. We continue to expand our curriculum and reach, while maintaining our commitment to practical, culturally relevant financial guidance that creates real change in people's lives.
